What do sessions typically look like?-Prior to your first session you will be completing paperwork (consent forms, assessments) that will help me learn about you before you even walk in my door.
-The first session is the initial intake. I’ll be getting to know you while asking questions about current challenges, family/personal history, history of risk, and strengths you (or your child) currently possess.
-The second session we will be collaborating on a treatment plan. We will be discussing goals for treatment. We may discuss evidenced-based modalities that may be helpful for you.
-The third session and beyond we will be working towards your goals based on your treatment plan. We will review and update the treatment plan every 3-6 months to ensure we’re on the right track.
